Lynde Madsen Mott is a former Air Force brat. She had a roaming childhood that included Asia, New England and the Deep South (Yes Ma'am!)
After completing a BFA from BYU in 1997 her real education commenced in the form of navigating the upbringing of three boys while coping with constant compulsions to paint and do creative work.
A marvelously supportive husband has enabled the production of a home filled with murals, colorful floors, stained glass mosaics, decorative countertops, unique customized furnishings, and, oh yeah, LOTS of paintings. No surface is safe from Lynde!
Resonating through her oil paintings are themes of the Divine Feminine, Bible subjects, effusive quilt and floral motifs and, most importantly, compelling patterns and high chroma color!
