Rose Datoc Dall is a Filipina-American contemporary figurative artist known for her unconventional usage of colors, unique compositions, and linear graphic sensibility. Rose earned her BFA in Art History and Fine Art Studio in 1990 from Virginia Commonwealth University, VCUArts in Richmond, VA. Winner of many awards, Rose paints distinctive contemporary portraits but might be more well-known for her sacred imagery. Rose was born in Washington DC in 1968. She was raised in Northern Virginia, where she and her husband Tim raised all 4 of their children. Rose and her husband Tim currently reside in Woodland Hills, UT to be close to their grown-up children and 5 grandchildren.
